• To ensure price tags, sinages are available on all Merchandise and visual display is done innovatively. • To accept advance from customer and make appropriate entries in system. • Ensure that deliveries are made only after total amount is collected from customer (less advance) • To sort, count, and wrap currency and coins, collect cash from till and transfer the amount to safe from time to time, during the day. Collects all cash (minus imprest amount) at end of day and transfers to the safe. • To calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales. • To compile and maintain reports and records of cash transactions, credit and debit card transactions. • To pay company bills by cash, vouchers, or cheques. • To maintain vouchers, maintaining suspense book, timely up keep of records for cash flow (inward & outward) • To count cash at end of day and Tally the records with the actual cash in hand on daily basis. • Along with Store manager closes the store following company procedure for the same. ...more
